SC Counts partners works to empower, educate, and engage local communities around civic activities like census completion and redistricting. These federally mandated activities impact the most basic parts of every person’s life ranging from school zoning to where emergency services are placed to who represents the community in every elected office. Strengthening avenues for participation ensures all voices are heard at the decision making table.

Lowcountry Redistricting Training: SC Counts CROWD Academy
Training will take place from Tuesday, April 27 through Thursday, April 29 from 9:00am through 12:00pm. All sessions must be completed to receive a certificate at the conclusion of training. Training materials will only be provided to people who complete the registration form.

Our goal is to ensure every resident of South Carolina gets counted.
We provide support to nonprofit organizations, faith communities, Complete Count Committees, and other collaborative efforts focused on a complete count for the 2020 Census.
